# Supported Device

> Details on what devices can be used for an SBMG SMS gateway

SBMG is built to support as broadly as possible but different devices provide different challenge particularly due to the fact manufacturers
modify characteristics of the device OS. Below are the specifications we target to support acting as a guide for finding a device to install
the SBMG SMS gateway service.

While most devices meeting this criteria will be compatible with SBMG we are aware some devices/brands can cause problems due to thier software
including:

* Motorola
* *This list will be updated with any other problematic brands*

To avoid issues we recommend using devices already confrimed to be using SBMG by testers, partners, and customers. If you already have a device
of a brand listed below or better yet, the same year or model as one listed we would expect SBMG should work as expected.
